At its annual general meeting in Mumbai, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also approved a women's Indian Premier League, which is likely to begin in March next year, after the men's event proved a massive hit. "The PCB has noted with surprise and disappointment ... and the comments were made without any discussion or consultation with the board of the Asian Cricket Council or the Pakistan Cricket Board and without any thoughts towards their long-term consequences and implications," the PCB said in a statement on Wednesday. 'And I'm going — "wait a minute, I'm looking at the helicopters and TV — somebody didn't pull a permit, somebody's going to get in trouble with the mayor's office".
